Thanks John, the auto disconnect looks very promising. Found them on the net for $50-150. One other thing that would be nice to add if it isn't too expensive is some kind of battery monitor display that shows the battery state of charge. That way the display warns them to charge the battery and if they don't the battery disconnect puts the lights out. Anyone have any suggestions?
