Here's a real example of my 2 X 12V X 30 Watt in series panel giving 60 Wp, with an MPPT and panels laid flat on my boat with reasonable cooling and that combination exceeded the 60Wp STC rating. Note I got 68 and 69 Watts max power output on those 2 days in June. And note PV Max voltage of 41.07 Volts. In winter it would be much higher.
