I measure current with a panel type ammeter connected across a shunt at the negative terminal of the bank. It is a lot simpler than measuring 3 phase motor current and voltage. And it tells me what I need to know about power consumption. but obviously motor kw is going to be slightly less than controller input kw, the difference reflecting the controller's efficiency. If my data is unacceptable then feel free to ignore it. In fact, I won't offend you by posting further test results after switching to the 12kw motor because I will still be measuring across the shunt at the negative terminal.
