Nick that sounds like good advice. Only problem is, I really want to get a decent minimal system up and running ASAP, so in the event of a natural disaster type situation I will still have electricity. The batteries are not just for propulsion. I live aboard, and I will be counting on the boat next time we get a major hurricane. Maybe I will just get two panels initially, and then get all the rest in a single purchase. Even if I buy them all at once, I still can't use a whole pallet, anyway, and I am often gone so I can't sell the leftovers easily.
