The amp draw is not the 50% Keith is referring too; it's the amp hours. Although the higher the current, the less amp hours your bank can give up; you can completely discharge the bank at any level of current.
You just have to keep an eye on your meter to be sure you don't go below 80% too often. Concorde-Lifeline has a graph on their website showing the typical number of charge - discharge cycles you can get depending on the depth of discharge. 50% gets you 1000 cycles, 80% gets you about 550 cycles. Even 100% dod gives over 300 cycles. 300 is still once a week for 6 years! If you've got quality batteries don't worry about occasional deep discharges.
