Thank you very much Eric to respond to my message. Yes, I guess 15-20 miles would be enough for most days, 20-30 miles ideal. Allso 2,5-3,5 knots would be probably be plentiful.I was thinking of the calm night's in the summmertime when there is no wind for hours and hours. I thought I could get further because I have been looking at some homepages of co. that sell compleate electric inboard systems and many of them "promise" many hours and miles covered of crusing on a single charge. 12 heavy batteries...sic! I was thinking of 4 deep cycle batteries (semi traction). I guess I have to reconsider my goals a litle bit and read a litle more:)
