OK...Can't hurt to run a test. Here's one of Brother Will's "mule"
experiments. This is an Arneson-Drive, a variable shaft-angle drive
system. It would allow the prop to be run deep during starts and in
turns for better control and acceleration, but leveled in
straightaways for more speed and stability...
heavy, complicated and clumsy to be useful.
