Yeah, I realize that the unique display will limit my chances of getting this fixed. But, it is worth a try rather than just trashing the meter.

hi... hate to throw cold water on your excitement, but LCD displays like that, which have special symbols for a given application, are generally custom made to order and only available from the company who contracted to have them made. (There are many sources of generic displays, less the custom symbols) If you can't get them to sell you one, about the only alternative I see is to find another broken unit and harvest its display.

But I wish you luck in getting it fixed... it really sux that so many manufacturers these days won't supply parts for equipment they sold you!
