[Electric Boats] Re: 1969 Pearson 300 Conversion

You might consider a 48v system. I have a Freedom 32 with 9,000 lb disp. and felt 36v was under-powered. A year of cruising has proved that correct.

I have the Electric Yachts system and have been very happy with it. It has performed flawlessly this past year.

The boat is a full keel, shallow draft motor sailer with about a 6.9 knot hull speed. Need the motor primarily for getting underway and returning (backing down under sail is possible but a lot of work) and for those days when the wind does not want to cooperate.
