[Electric Boats] Re: Regeneration



Thank you, your link "http://www.solomontechnologies.com/motorsailing.htm" is another excellent source of data. What's nice about these is that they are working examples rather than just theory. True, personal experience would also be useful, but its nice to know some of the performance bounds that people are actually getting. I'm currently putting a 72 volt system into my Hunter 37. The regen is important in that I may want to take advantage of it for extended cruses. I wonder if a good feedback system could limit its drag depending on current speed. At low speeds don't regen, only regen when at near hull speed.
