Good point Mike, thanks. Ducting and fans is just the same as we do with electronics in boxes and a lot can be done along those lines. I was just thinking ahead, don't really expect to need water cooling; small motor & boat. But if any one has done that on an outboard I would be interested in their experience with it.
Probably should have just said 'tubing' as copper is clearly not the choice of materials should one go that way. More than tubing anyway, a proper 'water jacket' and good thermal coupling at least.__._,_.___
