I am interested in the feedback as well ...
Thank you for promoting the book "Electric Propulsion For Boats"
(Paperback) by Charles A. Mathys...
But this is no answer to cloudmagnet's question unless the specific
setup he's enquiring on is described...

Since you used this book, can you provide some feedback on your setup ?
Did the books theory match the reality ?
