We have a few airboats on the river and no one likes them including many of the passengers! Its a good solution, but not for me. And, it's not the kind of experience I want to have with my grandkids.

I tried paddlelwheel, and even built a feathering sternwheeler prototype. I ran OK, but was VERY pitch sensitive, so I abandoned it.
