Getting enough 'power to plane' would be irrelevant :-)

I did the first long run endurance trial of my e-boat conversion on the
Myall river up from Tea Gardens - was the first time I tested running my
Honda EU20i while under power. Don't think we got more than half way up
the river before we had to turn around and head back to make sure we got
back to Winda Woppa before it started to get dark - I don't have
navigation lights fitted.

We did get passed by a few boats who obviously didn't know what 'no
wash' and 'idle speed' meant.
