First time I've seen them. As regards understanding I knew nothing 5 years ago save for my Royal Navy steam engineering background. So, if you want to know you just keep on learning and figuring it all out as you are clearly capable of doing so.
Bottom line re converting - it all comes down to budget. I know when I looked at your spec my immediate gut reaction was - well that'll cost you about 5 times your boat value, subject to this and that. My own boat over the years - probably about half the sale value in messing/playing with electric. Cheaper to buy a diesel!
