i've seen this gen and had the same sorts of thoughts....  i only wonder how reliable the supplier is....  you send your money first and then hope they deliver....  probably alright but i hate the idea of being an individual with a one time order and sending money to china

Good thread. I am considering using a new 10 hp air cooled diesel on ebay for $619 and (4) automotive alternators to charge a 48 volt bank.
