I'll be reading through past posts and surely leaning plenty. I posted some pics of a solar only powered canoe I've put together and used the last couple of years, under the title 'solar powered canoe'
The outriggers are 4" PVC tube and the 'speedo' was made from a Walmart bicycle speedometer, 'a kid's bicycle wheel and some fender washers. I can tell you: it's Loud and Splashy! lol! My next speedo will be incased.
I'm currently working on a second canoe, also 16'. It has 6 panels and 2 trolling motors. The panels ar mounted above the canoe providing shade. It will have one 9' windsurf board as an outrigger. And the outrigger will have some kind of backrest or lawn chair and of course its own shade!
Expecting to learn plenty here and have lots of fun. '60 miles north of Los Angeles, CA.
