One more time. I need to speak up. NASA has used radioisotope generators
because the craft can then go further. Remember that deep space craft go
out of the range where solar would work. However the USSR used them for
light house beacons on remote waterways. Those units now leak radiation
and are defunct. organizations are working to rid the world of them.
