Note: I've just found that the .0022uF 'fixed off time' timing
capacitor is too small (owing to a voltage change from IR2133-V1 to
-V2) and things were blowing. .0047uF works.

I'm also setting CRM to max and using external PWM to get stronger
resistance to motor stalling on car - might be fine without on boat
because torque is proportional to prop speed.
