Just picked up a hydraulic crimper on sale from Harbor Freight for under $50 which included a whole bunch of dies...

Dumb question for the group: inasmuch as I've always been a belt-and-suspenders kinda guy who crimps, solders, shrink-sleeves, and immobilizes (liberal use of ty-wraps) all small onboard wiring, I was wondering what the drawbacks are of soldering (in addition to crimping) the large heavy-current battery connections? Yes, I have a propane torch and large soldering irons to do the job.
