[Electric Boats] Re: picking a vendor

Agreed for the most part. However if we can get a system from one vendor that ensures that there is no finger pointing at other vendor's components if something goes pear shaped!

All these companies are still in early days, and essentially it is still like doing a DIY install. There is lots to be learned from folks that have installed a system like Thoosa or Electric Yacht and I for one value the information during my research phase right now.
There is nothing more expensive than buying something that doesn't work.
A package from a vendor that has been field tested and shown to be solid can be the lowest cost option in terms of money, stress and safety in the long run.

My $0.02

From my experience, Propulsion Marine has high quality and high customer service not to be beat.

How is the performance? Does it work better than the home-built system that you originally installed? Since I'm assuming that you;ve installed two different drive systems in the same boat, you've got a relatively rare opportunity to discuss the differences in the drives themselves. The rest of us have only our previous ICE drives to compare to.
