Hi Chris,

Thanks for the input. I like the idea of keeping the voltage higher by charging the propulsion bank and getting the better efficiency that affords.

Am I missing something, it seems with this charging program you will end up with two depleted battery banks? I get that you will motor farther on less gas but you will get to a point that you will need to stop driving and charge, right?

For real life numbers, I have motored for 7 hrs on one bank. Using your numbers if I charge the propulsion bank I could get 42 hrs at 4knots. I like that.
