Hi Eric,

Good point regarding all the electric propulsion manufacturers out there that are providing good products and service.

Unfortunately I believe SolidNav is no longer in business. I've been trying to contact them for months with no reply. The reason I wanted to talk to them (Jason) was to see what stuff they have been working on. It is always interesting and informative talking to Jason.

This is a shame, I think they made one of, if not the best electric auxiliary for 25'-30' sailboats. Throughout my installation they couldn't have been more helpful, stopping by the boat a least 3 times to help and check in. And they were not local.

That said, in my opinion :-) other than the actual mounting frame and maybe some switches most of the units are off-the-shelf parts that can be bought through other suppliers. I'm not too worried about servicing my SolidNav.
