Sorry, but you are way beyond my knowledge of control electronics. The Sevcon controller supports regen but beyond that, I don't know.

What are the chances of using that motor to couple to a diesel engine without a controler and some sort of a bridge rectifier to generate DC to charge a 48 volt battery bank driving a Etek RT.

The 20 turn and the 28 turn motors produce the same power. I got a new motor pulley & belt for the 28 turn so both motors turned the prop shaft the same speed.

I returned the new pulley & belt to the bearing house and am selling the new motor.
