The Myall River is a bad example with it's no-wash zones, the last time I went along there was in a Jarcat5 with 5hp Seagull outboard, three people and 2 weeks worth of gear, we were lucky if we created a wake, empty we couldn't get up on a plane.
The Myall River was only an example, we would like to repower and keep some of the performance of a 40-70HP outboard, performance is one of the reasons that we were attracted to the Macgregor.
