[Electric Boats] Re: USCG Boatbuilder's Handbook Electrical Systems

 

Eric,

I don't know why you pulled that out of all the other good information in the handbook, especially when it has so much good information about USCG wiring standards for wire and connector gauge by current, to mention a few. It's clear you got to page 2 and stopped there. That is a strange conclusion you came to.

Many people and rightfully so, are interested in complying with USCG regulations. The concern has been expressed a number of times. I think this handbook is a good point of reference.

Do you intend to offer up something better? The purpose is to be helpful in this matter. I have not seen anything issued by the USCG other than this. Where did "James" get his information from?
