[Electric Boats] Battery specific energy and power in relation to volume and density

I know Hannu has often said the Tesla battery is the best in terms of this message subject and ref:

However Alta claim otherwise. Maybe it's because they quote the pack rather than the cell? Either way this pack looks as though it would be great for an electric boat, although the gravimetric density is less critical than in a motorcycle. Maybe in that sense, if choosing Lithium, the BMW i3 battery is a good bet with its 9 year capacity warranty.

Having said that I'm also of the mind that James Lambden is right in the use of TPPL batteries as they are 'already there' as he suggests, for what most people actually do and require on a small sailing yacht. Still if capital cost vs risk vs cycle life vs volume/density and C rates and voltage stability are a priority then personally I find this Alta pack interesting. I haven't checked out the safety aspects for marine use though. It's just a battery that caught my eye and others may find it of interest too.
