I had a cabinet full of them given to me once from a back up lighting system. They come with a 10 year guarantee if you use the approved BMS and these were only about 4 years old. But obviously I did not have the approved BMS. They lasted about two years. Most of these types of batteries are not made to deep cycle, at least not routinely.
I wouldn't recommend them unless you only take your boat out about once a month.
