[Electric Boats] Re: Adding batteries in series to an existing bank... thoughts?

I would go with two separate banks. I think you would have issues mixing the different age LA batteries. All of the reasons you have mentioned for separate banks are right on the mark. Things do happen and having another battery bank ready to go is reassuring.
