Hello everyone, my wife and I just started a rebuild of a 1978 Islander Freeport 36. All systems need to be replaced so we plan on going full electric with wind and solar and maybe a DC generator. We won't be to the point of putting in power system for a bit(lots of structure work to be done) so we have time to plan a good economical system that will allow us to anchor out for long periods. With what all of you experienced sailors out them have come across, what looks like we need to look for, taking into account the leaps in technology?
