RE: [Electric Boats] battery cost comparison - now long term cost too.

 

Geo someone posted here recently 2012 about cells which were 5 years old; I would forward it but I have had a recently glitch which took the email records.

 

The way I use cells is very hard 35C rate average not the 0.3C rates a displacement hull would run. They simply don’t last that long certainly a few years – 300 cycles now days  a 5 years ago they were lucky to see 20 cycles if stressed like that

Has anyone cycled any form of Lith Batts to 2000 cycles ?
