[Electric Boats] Re: Re-e-power Problem

Hi Kevin,

As stated earlier, I don't condone the business practice cited. I was only pointing out that it has been a difficult year for all of us.

You are pretty close to the mark on how we operate. We assemble per order, as there are some options that need to be put together on a per order basis. We ask for a $500 deposit at time of order with the rest at time of shipment.

BTW, after an extremely slow fall, winter and spring things have picked up. I am hoping this continues and others are seeing an upturn, as well.

Cheers,

Scott.

I also don't know why he wouldn't have the individual's money available for refund if he couldn't supply the advertised product.

If you have a few or several units waiting for buyers you are likely anxious to move them out and recoup your costs plus profit so you can make more and keep the cycle going. That is the way small business works and nothing is wrong with that.

I'm sure if someone purchases one of your many systems, that the product is there or that you would use the purchase money to construct, test and ship a finished product to that consumer in a timely and honest manner.
