Good Day to the Group! I am newly joined and anxious to get input from the group re: powering a 24' Tollycraft with AC motor. Taking all input openly. Size of motor, type of charging system, best batteries, etc. I am just beginning a DC conversion for a motorcycle and have the opportunity to take om another larger project. Hoping to take advantage of AC benefits of power and reverse and regen capacities. Dockside and at anchor will have solar panels, for extended range will consider adding small diesel power plant?
