Hi,


A friend of mine clamped some 2x pressure treated lumber to his swim ladder on his Newport 28 that worked great for getting in and out of his slip/marina.
He had 2 12v batts in the lazarette for range....
It was a fresh water motor rated at 42 lbs thrust.... it was not a rocket but would move the boat at 2.5-3.0 knots.

Hi,
What is the type of boat did you make to mount the Minkota? and was this the engine mount model with 160 lb of thrust?
