I have recently been introduced to the idea of "Buddy Pairing" for batteries. I am planning my installation around 16 6V batteries in a traditional configuration, 8 in series in parallel with 8 in series. As I understand the buddy pairing, I would put 2 in parallel, then series that up with 7 more buddy pairs. I'd like to understand the pros and cons of this approach.
