Our local discount boating chain sells compressor fridge kits for self
installation. They come with lengths of flexible piping pre terminated
with some sort of quick connect coupling.

self install vapour phase refrigeration kits are available.
Peltier is great in that there are no moving parts, but they are
terribly inefficient at moving heat.
If we are talking an electric boat that has to carry around stored
electricity, efficiency of the components would be an issue wouldn't it ?
