We launched our 1973 Duffy Edison 20 this weekend, it was a gorgeous day on the water and "wow" this baby is quiet, we could hear other duffys running their on board DC motors while our outboard Torqeedo made virtually no sound!!! It hums a bit but is underwater so is essentially silent. Impressive thrust it pushes the boat just fine. We motored all day on 4 GC225 6Volt Lead Acid golf cart batteries from Costco. The 220ah should allow us to motor for 12 hours at half throttle according to Torqeedo chart.
