Re: [Electric Boats] voltage

 

The ABYC has published Technical Information Report TE-30 which has recommendations for electrical propulsion systems ranging from 50VDC to less than 1000VDC, and 300VAC to less than 1000VAC.

I haven't seen any federal regulations regarding these systems in recreational craft yet. When it happens, you can bet that it will be based on TE-30.
