This just highlights the nature of amateur groups , not just this one , but also most others :
Most information presented here is not collated or listed in any kind of organized fashion , hence the newcomer is faced with negotiating a maze of snippets and tidbits of information ( some accurate and useful ) , and some utter non-sense.
It`s not easy negotiating this minefield.
I understand the difficulties.
Persist in your quest , that`s the best advice I guess.
The information is out there , but you need to dig for it.
The newcomer is well advised to arm him / her self with a good selection of text from their local library.The information in those texts are well researched and , most importantly , accurate.
Once you understand the basics places like this forum are a little easier to digest .You will also be able to sort the grain from the chaff.
