[Electric Boats] Re:Question on small Pontoon

Hi All,

I am a newbie here too and joined to learn more about electric boating
how-to.

Here is the boat I have been thinking about building- see
http://www.polysail.com/Showboat.htm - just because I love
sternwheelers. Since it was designed to be powered by two people
peddling, I thought it would be neat to do with electric power. The
designer said that a 5 to 7 hp engine could be used for power.

I think it would be great as a boat to putter around in. Add a air
calliope and whistle and re-live the old riverboat days.
