[Electric Boats] New to the Group

 

Wanted to say Hi and also have many questions. I own a Columbia 34 MKII and want to convert it. The boat weighs 14,000 pounds. It has a Volvo 2003 Diesel with V-Drive.

I looked through the photo album and saw that someone converted the same engine. Couldn't tell what motor they used. Could you give me an idea how big of a motor I would need to push my boat?

I would like very much to learn as much as I can form this group. Some very nioe projects on this board.
