Good catch. Yes I notice the 24 volt generator has the same 100 Amp spec too. Still even a generator putting out 25 amps at 48 volts and is only 1.5 feet x 1.5 feet x 1.5 feet
 is something I might take a look at in the future. If the $ make sense. I'm not so much concerned about the charging but, having 25 amps available when motoring would mean a nice bump in speed without draining the battery bank.

If you have a smaller bank than that, the charge-acceptance limit means you waste a lot of amps/diesel. But with lithium, high-quality SLA, etc you can go for a smaller bank since the charge acceptance is higher. I would also bet that number is a carry-over (typo) from a 12V system - no way that charger puts out 100amps @48V - so it's probably 25amps @48V and a 100AH FLA bank would be fine.
