The only price I've seen reported is US$8000 per battery, this works out to $2.00/wh.

The weight, volume and performance is almost identical to 8 LiFePO4 batteries in series which are 80% cheaper at $.40/wh. The advantage seems to be slick packaging and the on-board BMS. I've also read that the manufacturer says that Mastervolt chargers must be used, I would guess they integrate with the electronic package in the battery case. Perhaps Mastervolt is going after the "plug and play" crowd that has way too much discretionary funding at hand.
