Hello Jim Bob,
Yes I had a look at Green Star Marine. This company appears to have taken over or is the same company as OZ ecodrive, as when I click on the link for Oz Ecodrive, in my bookmarks, Greenstar Marine comes up.
I looked at the Oz system about 4 years ago and I suspect the Greenstar is the same. My opinion was (and I'm nowhere near as knowledgeable as some in this forum) that this looks a good system designed tried, tested and in working use by many satisfied customers.
It would suit my boat a long keeled Hurley 22 perfectly. What put me off was the price -about 3300Euros I recall(Not including battery bank) . Way too expensive for my old boat when I can buy a brand new 9hp outboard for 1500GBP. Or for same money get a Yanmar10 hp diesel
fitted.
I've sent them a quote form will see what the latest price is?
Innes.
