That's tram (Streetcar for you NA types) motor territory.
Compact 3 phase synchronous motors in that power range are made by
several manufactures for use in trams. (The big railways can use
physically bigger motors, but a modern 'low floor' tram needs a very
compact motor).
I think for our boats, a similar power tram motor that spins at a much
lower speed would be more suitable, like the 47kw perm magnet motor
Ŝkoda put on their 'ForCity 15T' tram. These motors direct drive the
wheels so put out that power at low speed, more than suitable for a nice
large efficient low speed prop.
However the 600v needed for the traction converter would be a bit of a
challenge and some what dangerous.
A 600vDC arc will happily jump 2cm or more. Nasty if you get in the
wrong place. (I demonstrated on the week end how far 600v would jump for
a visitor to my tram museum - one of the old trams types use 'plug and
socket' for the light switches - so turning off the lights can draw
quite an arc!)
