Newbee so dont forget we laugh together right? Ok my idea for my 34 foot chb is to gut the 8hp gas outboard motor stuff in a 1/4 hp electric. Then power the new electric outboard wiit with a 5 kw northern lights generator. Would this work? Thoughts very welcome. Im wondering that I should start with a bigger motor like a 25 to 50 hp because of the bigger prop .. I only am looking for 3 mph for trolling for salmon. ok Ive got broad shoulders and can take the abuse or am I on the right track . heres hoping
