Hi, the price I got was for a complete package, not only for the engine.
The complete package includes everything for putting in a inboard engine, like a folding prop, shaft, sealers, etc.
And 2 12v 25A chargers are included for plug and play to the controller, as well as misc stuff for installing shore power, all cables, battery meter, regen controller etc etc.
I was offered a complete package for around $9.000 (if I remember correctly) now when the dollar has dropped quite a bit compared to the swedish crown - that is for the quickshift-version which supports regen.
I'm in UK, so the Krona would give me a better idea, but this is a helpful ballpark.
If you don't want the propeller, chargers and shore power things you can reduce the price with $3.000-$4.000.
Elsewhere the motor is $1k, the PMC is $550, add to that the handle shift, is still under $2k bought OEM and put together yourself unless I'm missing much other than the solenoid relay board, motor mount and wiring.
The speedshift version is cheaper, the speedshift doesn't support regen yet (but probably will next year and is something that can be added on) but is stepless and is around $1.000 cheaper.
That was one thing I didn't quite understand from the .pdf, the speed-shift has a position for regen, yet it doesn't show how to wire it. But I don't understand why it wouldn't work (assuming you could get the prop to unfold) if you had a DC-DC converter of some-kind wired in?
Thankyou for the info, gives me a ball park idea. Aside from programming the Electronic Power Controller, adding the breadboard (which doesn't look even slightly waterproof, which is odd when the Milli box is IP67) I'm not sure the "value added" that OZ provide is worth the £$ but maybe I'm missing something?
