I live in Texas, and would like to see someone make a system which could be added to a beat to be used in trolling for fish, Currently I use my 60hp at a very low speed about 3-5 mph for trolling with down riggers for about three to four hours, It would be nice to have an electrical system which would do this task and save on the Gas motor used, not to mention the wear and tear on the motor. I could purchase a 2.5 to 5 hp motor and use it but like mentioned a battery operated system would be more appealing.
