In my opinion, I think that the typical American speed boat consumer is not willing to accept the practical performance or range limitations related to electric boats. At this point, interest seems to be limited to environmental activists or experimental hobbyists, neither description seems to fit the average power boater in this country.
EV's are struggling against the same issues, other countries are more successful in marketing electric solutions because it seems that their consumers are more realistic about their usage requirements.
Once you're up and running, I'm looking forward to hearing about how your boat will stack up in price/performance/range against conventional boats on the market.
Fair winds,
Eric
