I have seen multiple battery bank combiners by Xantrex and another company I think was called Cruising Controls. The Xantrex one was for 3 battery banks. A separate solar system for the dinghy might be easier than rewiring a lot of the existing wiring.
If you want to have capability to charge the dinghy batteries very quickly you can run a permanent magnet alternator (PMA) from a small engine and it's more efficient and powerful than a AC powered charger. eBay has lots of PMA's designed for 12V and engine driven. A inexpensive way to do it is cut a hole big enough for the small pulley in the deck of a old lawnmower and run the PMA with a belt.
